A part of the comic series 'Bone'. I say you haven't read a comic book till you've read the entire 'Bone' series by Jeff Smith. Brilliant stuff. It was the first great graphic novel series of its time. Definitely recommended reading.

I'd had forgotten about Bartelby due to not having read the series for so long. I didn't like the direction the story eventually took ....
Over at InkBunny, there's a Bartelby Fletch, a young bat who was murdered by his father and now lives in the afterworld.
Despite the huge ammount of sex and cartoon violence, it does not overwhelm and replace a real story.
